Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of B2BItem.com (the "Platform"). By browsing the Platform or creating an account you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Platform on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.

2. What B2BItem is — and is not

B2BItem is a marketplace venue: we connect buyers and suppliers and provide tools (listings, RFQs, quotations, samples, messaging) to help them trade. We are not a party to any transaction. Contracts, payments, shipping and quality assurance are agreed directly between buyer and supplier. B2BItem charges no commission on trade deals and does not handle trade payments.

3. Accounts & listings

• You must provide accurate, current information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• New registrations and listings are subject to review and approval by our team, and may be edited for quality, rejected or removed at our discretion.
• You must own or be authorised to represent the company you list. Companies carried over from the previous B2BItem directory can be claimed by their rightful owners via email verification.
• One account per person; accounts are not transferable without our consent.

4. Content rules

You retain ownership of content you post but grant B2BItem a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and distribute it as part of operating and promoting the Platform. You must not post content that is:

• false, misleading, or infringing third-party rights (trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets);
• illegal, counterfeit, prohibited or restricted goods (weapons, narcotics, endangered species, stolen goods, sanctioned items);
• spam, bulk-scraped data, malware, or attempts to phish or defraud other members.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Verification badges

"Verified", membership tiers and similar badges indicate that a profile passed our review process. They are not a guarantee, endorsement or warranty of any company, product or transaction. Always perform standard trade diligence — request samples, references and secure payment terms — before transacting.

6. Fees

Basic membership is free. Optional paid memberships (e.g. premium storefronts or featured placement) may be offered with their own pricing, shown before purchase. We charge no commission on trade transactions between members.

7. Disclaimer & liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, B2BItem is not liable for losses arising from transactions between members, listing content posted by members, service interruptions, or events beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees (if any) you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time via the contact page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, harm other members, or expose the Platform to legal risk.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email.
