Grass sponges belong to the phylum Porifera, also known as the sponges. These are simple, sessile (attached) aquatic animals that live in both marine and freshwater environments
Grass sponges are a very common basic type of natural sea sponges. there are two types, the regular grass and the silky grass. grass sponges do satisfy all basic expectations with regards to smooth skin cleaning and softness. this type of natural sea sponge is to be found in tropical seas. the sponges are harvested from the sea bed in shallow depths. grass sponges offer a good basic quality at a low cost level. they are convenient for adult and infant skin care.
